Girl Riding Bicycle Dress With Pink Rosette and Hat Gilt Planter Vintage Japan. This circa 1950's vintage figural planter is made in Japan. The brand is unknown although it appears a sticker was attached at one time. There is some crazing and slight loss of gilt on the foot and rosette. A small chip on the fork (top) of the bicycle is present but is difficult to capture in a photograph. There is a possible hairline crack (or production flaw?) inside the planter that isn't visible on the base of the planter. Although there is crazing, the finish remains glossy and the colours are vivid. It's amazing that after riding her bike for 70+ years, her lipstick remains a well-applied bright red. The measurements are approximately 5" wide and 5.75" high. Please review all photos as they form part of the description.
