Hadeland Glassverk Norway large Atlantic Vase in original Box Beautiful Willy Johansson (1921 - 1993) for Hadeland Glassverk, Norway art glass tall vase. This piece is absolutely stunning...Smooth to the touch, but the appearance looks heavily textured with its ribs and bubbles trapped in the glass. From the "Atlantic" series, this vase has a cylindrical fluted shape in heavy lead crystal clear glass with deep ribbed sides and undulating trapped bubbles. Highly polished top with an overhang style lip. Very nice modernist flair. The vase is signed underside and reads: "Hadeland - WJ". Measurements: 10" h x 4.75" w. *please note this vase has never been out of the box. It was purchased and stored. The box is in very good condition with only a few very minor wear marks from being stored. This would be a fantastic wedding gift or statement piece for any home. Currently there are only a few examples of this vase advertised for sale online with prices up to $500 and I couldn't find any in the original box.
