J & G Meakin "Bridal Bouquet" vintage serving bowls x2

Beautiful pair of bowls from J&G Meakin. The pattern is "Bridal Bouquet". I have marked these as vintage, but they are likely antiques. Listing includes the vegetable bowl (no flowers inside), and another serving bowl. The vegetable bowl is being sold without the lid. "SOL" and the sun face trade-marks are said to be registered in 1912. There were many variations with different pattern and trade names. No chips or cracks in either bowl. Some minor paint loss in the gold rims. The lip of the one serving bowl feels a bit rough, but there are no flea bites or chips. Just feels like areas that did not get good glaze coverage. Some minor areas of discolouration on the undersides. Upon inspection under with a magnifying glass, there are some light scratches on the inside of each bowl. Both bowls are in really great shape for the age. Please note, I do have the lid for the vegetable bowl; however, it has a large crack. If you want the lid, if will include it for no extra charge, but please be aware that I cannot guarantee that it will not break during shipping and as such, I am not considering it part of the listing. If you wish the lid, please send me a message with your purchase. Again, I cannot guarantee that the lid will arrive in one piece due to the large crack.
