The peacock coloured silk-like fabric alone is enough to draw gasps of admiration. Sweepingly flowy, the crisp square neck gives this garment some structure and sophistication while the eye is drawn to the borders on the sleeves and panel down the front made up of rich embroidery done in threads of blue, gold, glass beads and real mirrors. Even the side slits are beaded and embroidered. The whole garment is lined in a blue cotton? which also has side slits for easier walking. Thin shoulder pads can be removed. The front is done up with hook and eye closures. No tags. Looks to be completely handmade/homemade. Very A-line and flattering and forgiving as far as fit and flare and room goes.
