Vintage Star Heart & Bow Pendant Enamel & Rhinestones

A special old pendant from a collector in Europe. I don't know much about its significance, but it is a lovely piece. The base is metal. An eight-sided star with a heart that has a bow in the middle. The heart is filled with pink enamel, and the entire piece was at one point sealed with some manner of coating. Eight tiny rhinestones decorate the heart, with one larger one at the top. All of the stones are shiny! Looks as gorgeous on a shorter chain as it does worn long. Vintage, good condition overall, with a few notes: The coating has worn off on most of the star points, but you can see on the topmost left and right points, that some coating is still there.The metal webbing beneath the pink enamel is showing through unevenly. I think these things lend character to such an old piece, and aren't flaws in my mind, simply the effects of time. A wee bit of tarnish on the back, just on one point.
