Was a speaker's gift at a conference in Ireland, late 90s. 🍀☘️ It's a classic 1950s design.
This heavy Waterford crystal dish is adorned with fluted designs. I think it's the Lismore design, based on a lot of research. The pattern was an ode to the Gothic architecture of the 🏰 800-year-old Lismore Castle 🏰, inspired by the symmetry of the towers, pointed arches and elegant curves of the windows.
Its round base has an intricately cut starburst pattern. Its dimensions are as follows: 4 inches high, spans 7 inches across the top, and has a base width of 3.25 inches. The bowl itself has a depth of 3.5 inches.
The Lismore story began in 1952, at the hands of Chief Designer Miroslav Havel.
