Whiting & Davis vintage gold mesh evening bag with mother of pearl clasp. #2898

1940’s Whiting & Davis made in the USA. The # stamped on this bag is 2898. This gold mesh evening bag closes with a mother of pearl clasp. This evening bag is gorgeous. When you open the bag, the inside has an orange material. There is one small open pocket inside the bag. I noticed one small dark spot near the bottom of the bag. The manufacturer tag is clearly visible. The only issue with the outside of this bag is some wear on the gold frame opposite side of the Mother of pearl clasp. I have some photos of this. It is on the side of the bag that would be against your body.
