SOLD Authentic Vintage Chinese Carved Soapstone Brush Pot Sculpture

Vintage Asian carved Soapstone This came to me with a large collection of sculptures, some dated as far back as the 1910s, and others not dated. This is undated but does have the word "China" scribed in the back. Small bowl/vase in the middle flanked by leaves/chutes and something that looks like an acorn(?). Could be displayed as-is, or used as a toothpick holder, small candle holder (if you have a suitable sized candle), etc. Beautiful pale green color, similar to a very pale jade. Due to the nature of Soapstone there will be discrepancies in the texture, color, etc. with small fissures, scratches, and the like, but there is no other damage to either piece apart from the single chip. This weighs in at just over 200g Measures approx 4" long x 2.75" high x 1.5" deep A beautiful modest piece for the collector!
