Hello, is it carved of stone or resin / polymer clay type of a material? What's the background story behind the piece? Any idea where it came from? Thanks.

@lara2075 It came from a friend of my parent’s estate. I was told it’s a stone carving - it’s quite heavy for it’s size. I know the original owner travelled all over the world her whole life. So not sure of the age or where it came from.
