Vintage Handbags Ltd basket bag with leather straps made in Hong Kong

A truly different vintage bag - a basket purse designed by Handbags Ltd Montreal and made in Hong Kong. There are leather straps on this bag. It will hold a lot but I found when I tried to open it, it doesn’t open very far. The outside of the bag is in great shape. There is wear on the open/close latch. The canvas material on the inside has a few stains on it from vintage wear. Also on one side, you can see nails appearing but they are still intact. See last photo. Overall, a very unique vintage purse. I’ve priced this purse well below vintage value due to the open/close hinge and the few stains inside.
