Vintage Occupied Japan Ceramic Figurine

A very cute, vintage, ceramic figurine of a young girl with her dog holding a basket full of muffins. Condition is very good, though there is a chip in her forehead. In the back there is a storage cup to place notes or pencils and pens in. The period this was made was between 1945-1951 in occupied Japan.
